Kids Strength

There has been a lot of debate surrounding children’s strength training and conditioning. Multiple studies have come out in the last few years outlining the benefits of young kids in training is very similar to adults:

  • stronger muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments
  • more muscle, less fat
  • higher metabolism
  • greater physical capacity
  • great self-confidence

With an epidemic of obesity and inactivity in children, it is critical to cultivate an active lifestyle and teach kids the importance of exercise. This 8-week program will focus on functional movement, movement range, coordination, correct breathing, and proper posture during the exercise performance.

Kids will learn the fundamentals of fitness and movement that will translate into sports performance as well as the function of strength, mobility, and flexibility in everyday life.

Kids Hip Hop

Build strength, endurance, and confidence! With age-appropriate choreography and music, our hip hop classes focus on beginning break dance, multiple styles of hip hop techniques and making sure the kids are having a blast!  Please bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes.
