MAC Fitness Manager | Trainer | Founder of Fast. Eat. Live. Nutrition Company
Scott’s been a Strength and Conditioning coach for 30+ years. He combines his own blend of Physical Therapy “prehab” with Functional Exercises designed for efficiency and longevity. He’s been the Fitness Manager of the MAC for 10 years and is the Founder & CEO of Fast.Eat.Live. Nutrition System. His passion is helping people live their best life possible with a total wellness mindset.
- Certifications: NSCA CPT (National Council on Strength & Fitness Certified Personal Trainer), PN1 (Precision Nutrition Level 1), Fast.Eat.Live.-Certified Nutrition Coach

MAC Group Fitness Manager & Trainer
Sara received a BS in Wildlife Biology from UW and loves animals of all kinds. She worked at NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration), right next door to the MAC, for 12 years. Sara is the MAC’s Group Fitness Manager and teaches classes. She’s always been an athlete, and even competed in the early days of MMA as a female cage fighter!

- Training Focus Areas: Sara combines decades of teaching GX classes into her MacFit Small groups.
- Education: BS in Wildlife Biology, University of Washington

Trainer
In addition to being a personal trainer, Katie is also an athletic trainer — the kind you find in the training room and sidelines of collegiate sports programs. She has worked with the UW Huskies’ Track & Field and Football teams. Her knowledge of injury prevention and rehab post-injury is vast, making her an amazing resource for the MAC and its members.

Trainer
Ed brings a wonderful professionalism and caring personality to every member and client he meets. He’s the classic gentle giant and turned his personal love for exercise and fitness into a career. He’s a very talented musician, performing locally, as well as teaching music at the Seattle Drum School. Ed is constantly learning and bolstering his conditioning certification on his resumé. He went back to school to become certified in nutrition. If you want a great stretch or quick massage gun treatment, he offers those in shorter sessions.

Trainer
Joseph has worked out in the MAC since high school. He’s always been a gym rat and loves bodybuilding physique training. He loves the science aspect of training. He’s spent years reading and learning about historic bodybuilders and powerlifters. He discovered that he loved behavioral psychiatry and majored in that at UW, and is currently working on his master’s degree from Northwestern. He’s worked at both the MAC and a physical therapy clinic helping patients with Phase 3 strength training post-injury.

Trainer
Sam has been working out at the MAC since high school. He’s a local Nathan Hale High grad. He’s played basketball at the collegiate level and has worked with lots of pro athletes in multiple sports, including basketball and football. He focuses on sports performance and Speed Agility and Quickness (SAQ)-type activities as well as overall strength. Sam is fun and loud in the gym. You’ll see his energy and enthusiasm in every session.

Trainer
KK, as she likes to be called, is a dynamo! She received a minor from UW in nutrition and is a certified nutrition coach. KK is the full package as a strength and conditioning coach, able to teach Olympic lifting exercises and all physique movements as well. KK started working out at the MAC during high school, and you’ll often find her training herself on the gym floor. She’s spent years training at other gyms around Seattle with more focused approaches on small group training, like F45, and boutique gyms with HIIT training. We’re thrilled she’s all ours now and here to help the MAC members attain the physiques they desire.

Trainer
Neal is skilled in coaching everything from Olympic strength exercises to physique hypertrophy (bigger muscle) training. She’s a member of a local boxing club and enjoys “focus mitt” boxing training with clients. She’s originally from California and brings that sunshine energy into her personality and energy while training.

Trainer
Jared is from the East Coast and recently moved out to Seattle. Jared is skilled in teaching young lifters the correct form for strength and powerlifting. If you’re looking to gain muscle or improve form, he’s your trainer. He works with all age groups and has a great passion for teaching and coaching people to build great habits and maximize their time in the gym.
